Crisis Situation

If you or your child are in an urgent crisis situation, please contact your GP, or local therapist, immediately for direct emergency treatment. No online program, course or solution will provide the urgent support you or your child would require in a crisis situation. Online self-help solutions are directed towards people who want to discover tools to help them overcome a problem that has been present for some time, and is ‘non-urgent’ in nature.

Psychiatric Illnesses

Online self-help solutions are unlikely to provide sufficient support for people diagnosed with serious psychiatric illnesses, or those with complicated problems, which require close and direct treatment. Please seek direct advice from your GP in this respect.

Guarantees

Giving guarantees and promoting success rates is considered unethical and goes against the Code of Conduct for professionals in the coaching field. It is deemed misleading marketing since, realistically, there is no exact way of measuring results for self-help input. A successful outcome is always dependent on each individual case as every person is unique. People present with a wide range of personalities, issues, levels of motivation, support network, commitment to change and similar considerations which will all have an impact on the individual person’s outcome. To some extent, it is not about how successful the program is but about how successful you will be from being involved and committed to the self-help process.

My guidance is provided  to help you or your child deal with personal challenges through the use of specially developed techniques. By taking an active part in the coaching, participants will feel encouraged to change the way they think, act and behave which will allow them to feel happier and more engaged in daily life.
